I love to foundation paper piece the economy block. A 3" finished blocks allows you to use scraps as narrow as 1.75" (for the first interior). I like to piece with Decobob 80wt (strong as 50wt) but thinner. It reduces bulk and the papers tear easily. there is something meditative about making these. And they make great centers for star blocks using Triangle in Square star points. I think that precision cutting the triangles (or other pieces) (and with enough seam allowance) cuts down on fabric waste. A 3" finished block works well with postcard size (pair with other pretty fabric to get a full postcard).

The problem with this is that you end up burning more energy filtering shit out of every search than actually searching. Amazon, Google, Forbes, Wikipedia... all of this *useless fucking noise* that gets in the way anytime I'm trying to shop or do research. Typing -site:_______.___ starts to take up a lot of space when there are 20 or 30 something websites to add to the list, especially so when it's the *same* list of sites which I will never use. Is there a way to do this automatically, so you don't have to type in the command for every site? I'm asking because I tried uBlacklist, but for some reason it won't filter out Forbes or Wikipedia. Personal Blocklist is dead, and Content Farm Terminator still allows the noise to show up in the results; I don't want to see the garbage AT ALL. And for that matter, is there a way to do this with Mojeek or Yandex search engines, so I can skip Google altogether? I've read that Forbes can't be blocked because they pay Google for their search rankings, which would explain why "updating" Firefox renders uBlacklist useless. Better to not use any search engine which uses Google's data pool.
